– The Ministry of Light Industry of China together with Hi-Tech Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. presented a line, unique in properties and versatile in use, for the production of composite and water-soluble nonwoven fabrics, – says Vladimir Cheryomushkin, General Director of PPP Service (GT Group).
– The web is created with a combination of paper and spunlace technologies and consists of 75% cellulose and 25% viscose.
The water-soluble material obtained on the production line has a tissue-like structure.
The mixture of wet-formed and composite materials allows a wide range of products to be created on a single production line.
For everyday use, the water soluble linen is applicable in the form of kitchen napkins, kitchen towels, desiccant napkins, floor rags, wet toilet paper.
Such material has an undeniable advantage over cloth cleaning materials, since it does not have the ability to multiply a large number of viruses and bacteria.
In this regard, the water-soluble material is also applicable in the form of feminine sanitary napkins, diapers, hotel towels, sheets and pillowcases.
And water-soluble face masks, face towels and cleansing wipes are useful in the field of cosmetology and beauty salons.
In the industrial field, the material can be used in the form of disposable wipes for wiping electronic devices, circuit boards and printing machines, for absorbing machine oil.
In medicine, the water-soluble cloth can be used as surgical wipes, disposable blankets, cleaning wipes for medical equipment, gyro pads.
But versatility is not the only advantage of this material. Another important feature of a water-soluble canvas is its environmental friendliness. For wet forming, softwood cellulose is used – a natural, renewable, environmentally friendly and degradable raw material.
Softwood cellulose is an ideal substitute for synthetic fibers. This replacement is in line with the national and international ban on the use of plastics.
Unlike paper, the resulting material dissolves easily in water and can be recycled in an environmentally friendly manner.
The water soluble nonwoven production line is an innovation in the nonwoven, paper, cellulose and rayon industries.
The issue of creating biodegradable and renewable resources is attracting more and more attention of the world community – Japan, Korea, Europe and America are interested in the new technology. At the moment, the line has been installed in factories in China and Europe.
The production line consists of:
nozzles, vacuum and high pressure water;
water treatment systems;
dryers and winding devices.
The entire line requires a minimum manpower of 12 people.
