The Transcarpathian inventor Valentin Frechka announced this on the social network Facebook.
While still a schoolboy, he and his teacher came up with a technology for making paper from fallen leaves. With this discovery, he won the US Olympics.
Later, Valentin Frechka showed what paper from dry leaves looks like, which has been tested.
The scientist says that while developing the RE-leaf PAPER project in Ukraine, he faced a number of problems, in particular with the lack of production capacity, which made it possible to convert fallen leaves into fiber on an industrial scale.
Now the Zhytomyr Cardboard Mill has begun industrial production of the world’s first paper from fallen leaves using the technology of Valentin Frechka.
“We did it, and our pinnacle, on a difficult path, was the production of the first industrial paper tonnage based on fallen leaves, which finally has the necessary mechanical characteristics and meets the requirements. Such a large project is the result of the painstaking work of a group of people all over Ukraine and abroad, it is the result of hour-long negotiations, tests, experiments, failures “, – Valentin Frechka notes.
